How do I set up my Services?
Go to Setup, Services, and View.
Click on Add Service at the top right of the page.
- Enter the name of the Service
- Calculate Date (Most Services need to be set with the Date Calculation set to “OFF.”)****See bottom for Date Calculation information

Optional Color Picker: You can use the "Color Picker" to use on each service if you choose to color coordinate your "Services"

Select the Blue Save button at the bottom.
You can add as many services as you like. This creates your Menu of services that you can choose from when adding services to a property. The service must first be added to this page before you can add it to a property.
****What is Date Calculation?
Date Calculation is an automation that takes place within ResortCleaning to provide the Next Guest Arrival date for a given appointment. This is an important factor in determining appointment T/A (Turn Around) or some people use the phrase Back to Back status.
What is this for?
This information is Very Important for a cleaning company. Cleaning companies need to know when an appointment is a T/A, meaning a new guest is arriving on the same day as the current guest is leaving. Reading the next Arrival Date is how this is calculated.
How does it work?
Services can be set as either Date Calculated or Non Date Calculated.
Services with the Date Calculation mode set to ON will have their NEXT ARRIVAL DATE automatically calculated by looking at the ARRIVAL DATE of the next scheduled appointment.
For example, you would want your date calculator to be On for a service like Departure Clean or Regular Clean. If you try to schedule a departure clean that conflicts with another reservation, the system will display an error message letting you know the appointment you are trying to schedule conflicts with an existing appointment.
Non Date Calculated services do not effect the date calculation. Most services do not have anything to do with the dates the guest arrives or departs.
For example, a service like Daily Clean or Maintenance may need to be scheduled while the guest is in the property. For services like this, the Date Calculation mode should be set to OFF so they can be scheduled at any time without receiving the pop up notification that the appointment conflicts with an existing reservation.
It is recommended that the default service be a Date Calculated service and an infrequent services be set to a Non Calculate Date service.
